This control is formulated for use with laboratory tests that detect Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) DNA in human cervical samples. It contains transfected cells with full-length episomal HPV16 DNA, the HPV type most often present in cervical carcinomas. Transfected cells are mixed with non-infected cultured human cells. Cells are suspended in PreServCyt® solution. Supplied in single use vials, no additional processing required. For in vitro diagnostic use.
