This is a synthetic, multiplex control, formulated for research use in laboratory testing, molecular screening, and mutation testing, with assays that identify mutations in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene.
ACCURUN 676 covers 34 mutations, and when used in conjunction with ACCURUN 644, covers all 81 mutations in the Luminex xTag™ CFTR 70+6 Assay. The control immediately detects significant errors potentially missed or more difficult to identify with the use of rotating gDNA control schemes. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
All mutations are contained in a single vial, decreasing the number of controls needed, improving error detection, and reducing cost. Refer to the product insert below for more information.
